Poet Juri Natsui teacher

Lives in Matsuyama City, Ehime Prefecture.
After working as a junior high school Japanese language teacher for 8 years, he became a poet.
The leader of the haiku group "Itsukigumi". In May 2015, he became the first "Ambassador of Haito Matsuyama". MBS "Prebat !!" Haiku corner and many other programs. Selected for Matsuyama City's official haiku site "Haiku Post 365".

Select 1 special phrase and 3 excellent phrases for 5 concurrent photos.
Select one of the best phrases from the five selected phrases. The organizer will present a supplementary prize to the special phrases and excellent phrases.

What is Niihama City?

Niihama City is located in the Toyo region of Ehime Prefecture, in the central and northern part of Shikoku, which is located in the Seto Inland Sea. The mine was opened in the Edo period, and it built a sign of prosperity. After that, it was developed by the Sumitomo Group and its collaborative companies such as industrial machinery, chemical industry, and non-iron.
The Niihama Tadashi Festival, which is held every October, is a festival in which the largest people in the prefecture parade through the city, and is also known as the Shikoku Sandai Festival. This time, we are looking for haiku from all over the country with the image of sightseeing spots in Niihama City. We are waiting for your application!

Todaira, located in the mountains at an altitude of about 750 m, was busy until the suspension in 1968, with the Besshi Copper Mine Mining Headquarters being located and company housing, schools, entertainment venues, and entertainment halls being built. The Minetopia Beshiko Todaira Zone, which was developed by utilizing the many industrial heritage that still remains, was opened in 1994 with the concept of "History of Copper Mine and Natural Forest".

The Niihama Taiko Festival, which is one of the three major festivals in Shikoku and is known as the magnificent and gorgeous "Otoko Matsuri", has more than 50 drums parading around the city every year in mid-October.

The residence of Kohei Hirose, the first Prime Minister of Japan. This large-scale Japanese-style house in the Meiji era incorporates new culture such as sheet glass, lightning rods, and mantelpieces, as well as a beautiful garden and tea room. From the room on the second floor called "Boss Tower", you can overlook Niihama City and the Seto Inland Sea, and it is said that Mr. Hirose wrote Chinese poetry and thought about it.

Higurashi When They Cry Memorial Hall is a Western-style memorial hall located in Oji-cho, Niihama City, commonly known as Mt. Hoshikoshi. The former Higurashi Villa, which was originally located on Shisaka Island in the Seto Inland Sea, was relocated to Mt. Hoshikoshi, where there was a mineral processing plant on the Shikoku side with a distant view of Shisaka Island.

"Zuioji" is a temple located in Yamane-cho, Niihama City, which is the highest of the Soto sect. In winter, a monk called Unsui is known to go around the city in Dhutanga.
