Regular special exhibition "Yosakajima: Life in the Past"
In the Meiji era, the smelter was relocated to Shisakajima to solve the problem of smoke pollution caused by the modernization of the Besshi Copper Mine. The area was filled with the spirit of the many people who supported the factory as it developed. The nostalgic photographs from that time will introduce the lives of those people. *1. The museum is closed on Mondays and December 7th (Saturday) during the exhibition period. *2. The museum is located about a five-minute walk up the promenade from the dedicated parking lot.
