In 1983, he made his debut as "Sugiyama Kiyotaka & Omega Tribe" with "Summer Suspicion", and in 1986 he made his solo debut with "Sayonara no Ocean".
With representative songs such as "Futari no Natsu Monogatari -NEVER ENDING SUMMER-" and "Saigo no Holy Night", he is holding acoustic solo live performances with guitar playing and live band formations all over the country.
